We are secluded into the center of a quiet, established neighborhood in Mooresville and Charlotte (next to Huntersville and Denver) North Carolina, At Home Loving Care upscale oasis is setting new standards for Assisted Living.

At Home Loving Care is much like home; a comfortable family setting where you can read a book in the living room, enjoy watching the horses on the seven acres from the porch, play family board games with neighbors and know that each day will be filled with caring hands consistent friendly staff and family. We have establish a new improved caring approach to independent and assisted living seniors which offers a safe, secure residential solution.

Furnishing and decorate are specially selected to meet the needs of each residents' comfort and safety. Local senior center, Historical antique shops, churches, art cultural all within distance. We welcome family and friends to visit our upscale oasis of care and comfort.

Our Family

At Home Loving Care was founded in 1999 by, Therman and Alice Martin with Co Owner of Charlotte, North Carolina. Donna Palmer developed monthly meeting organized by Jamineka Davis, we recognized the need to help senior adults that were declining in their home and wanted to make a difference in the community.

On February 19, 2000, At Home Loving Care started providing services to seniors in the community free of charge (meals, transportation, light housekeeping, companionship and conversation). The need was huge all members of the Martin's family had to contribute to ensure each senior needs where met. As they continued our monthly meeting members were reporting:

falls, forgetfulness, late payments notices, stacks of unopened mail,
clients not eating, noticeable decline in grooming habits,
forgetting to take medication, unexplained bruising,
uncertainty and confusion when performing once-familiar task and many more issues.

We were only with these individuals for three or four hours. We as a team decided something was missing in the community with the senior population. We recognized seniors adults needed to have a comfortable secure home-like setting with six or less seniors A Place to Call "HOME SWEET HOME". So At Home Loving Care upscale oasis was establish offering unique home setting with Specialized Homestead Programs for residents that allows them to retain maximum independence through its therapeutic services and physical design.

At Home Loving Care Adult Day Program@Lake is excited to announced the First Adult day Program in Iredell county (Lake Norman). We offer a very unique program to only a few participants with this smaller setting participants can receive more one on one care.There is a noticeable warm,friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk in.

Our location has a fulltime activities coordinator who along with additional consistent staff, promote participation with games and activities which keep the brain stimulated. Hosting a variety of outings,events and excursion for all participant on a regular basis thus encourage participants to maintain their independence and involvement with local community.

The day at the center is open Monday-Thursday to participants 55 and up living in Lake Norman area and all surrounding counties.It has been designed to meet the needs of older people in the community.Each staff member are certified and trained.

Keep fit exercise bridge and other brain stimulation activities
Wellness check
manicures and hand massages
Music therapy and appreciation
Arts and crafts from Alzheimer Society activities book
Daily devotion and current affairs discussion groups
Reminiscence and entertainment
Outing daily entertainment after daily lunch and snack
